Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

This policy explains what information Opperavo ("we," "us") collects, why, and what your rights are. Plain English, no tricks: we do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

1. What we collect

CategoryExamplesWhy
Account dataName, email, password (hashed), company nameCreate and secure your account
Project contentJobs, addresses, schedules, daily logs, photos, documents, invoices, estimates, client contact detailsThe product itself: storing and displaying your work
Billing dataPlan, subscription status. Card numbers are handled by Lemon Squeezy, never stored by usOperate subscriptions
Technical dataLog data, device/browser type, error reportsKeep the service running and fix bugs

2. Service providers we share data with

We share data only with providers needed to run the service:

The setup suggestions in the app (for example, guessing a job type from its name) are generated inside the app itself. Nothing you type during setup is sent to any AI service or other third party.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

3. Client portal

If you enable a client portal link, the project information you selected (such as photos, schedule, daily logs, and a project summary) becomes viewable by anyone with that link. Financial data is never included in the portal. You can disable the link at any time.

4. How long we keep data

Your data is kept while your account is active. If you downgrade from a paid plan, data above free-tier limits is retained for 90 days and then may be permanently deleted (we warn you first). If you delete your account, your account and content are permanently deleted, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data from inside the app: Settings, then Security, then Delete account. You can also email support@opperavo.com and we will do it for you.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our hosting providers. Access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

7. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

We are California-based and many of our users are California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used; access a copy of it; correct inaccurate information; delete your personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any right, email privacy@opperavo.com; we verify requests and respond within the legally required timeframe.

8. Children

Opperavo is a business tool for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
