This policy explains what information Opperavo collects, why, who it goes to, and what your rights are. Opperavo is a product of Radle Consulting LLC, a California limited liability company based in Los Angeles ("we," "us"). Plain English, no tricks: we do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

We do not collect your location, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not read your phone's contacts.
Photos and videos are filed to the job you add them to, with the date and time they were uploaded. Phones usually hide the GPS location, the phone model and other details inside every photo and video file. Opperavo removes that hidden data from photos, and removes the GPS location from MP4 and MOV videos, on your device before upload, so media shared with a client does not reveal where the phone was when it was recorded. Each file can be up to 50MB. The only location attached to a job is the job address you type in.
Voice note recordings are stored only on the device you recorded them on. They are not uploaded to our servers. If you add a voice note to a daily log, only the text you choose to add is saved to your account.
To turn speech into text, Opperavo uses the speech recognition built into your device or browser. On iPhone and iPad this is Apple's speech recognition, which may send the audio to Apple to be transcribed. In Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers, the browser may send the audio to Google. That processing is covered by Apple's or Google's privacy policy. If your device has no speech recognition, the note is saved as audio only, with no transcript.
The Opperavo iPhone and Android apps ask for permissions only when you first use the feature that needs them, and you can turn each one off at any time in your phone's settings.
The apps do not request location, contacts, or permission to track you.
We share data only with providers needed to run the service, and only for that purpose:
Opperavo does not send text messages (SMS) and does not use any texting provider.
Setup suggestions in the app (for example, guessing a job type from its name) are generated inside the app. Nothing you type is sent to any AI service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.
If you turn on a client portal link, the project information you selected (such as photos, videos, schedule, daily logs and a project summary) can be viewed by anyone who has that link. Estimates, invoices, payments and other financial data are never included. You can turn the link off at any time.
Your data is kept while your account is active. If you move from a paid plan to the free plan, data above free-plan limits is kept for 90 days and may then be permanently deleted; we warn you before that happens. Confirmed founding list emails are kept until founding pricing ends or you ask us to remove yours. Unconfirmed ones are deleted after 30 days. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging.
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings, then Security, then Delete account. This permanently deletes your login and, if you own your company account, the company and everything in it: jobs, photos, files, daily logs, estimates, invoices, change orders and payment records. If you are a member of someone else's company, deleting your account removes you, and that company's records stay with the company. If you own a company that still has other members, remove them first or email us to transfer ownership.
Voice notes live only on your device; deleting the app removes them. You can also email hello@opperavo.com and we will delete your account for you. We may keep records we are legally required to keep.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our hosting providers. Each company's data is separated from every other company's at the database level. Access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; access a copy of it; correct inaccurate information; delete it; and not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as the CPRA defines those terms, so there is nothing to opt out of. To use any of these rights, email hello@opperavo.com. We verify requests and respond within the time the law requires.
Opperavo is a business tool for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If we materially change this policy, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
